Skid Row • Rock • Hair Metal
Sebastian Bach, Dave "The Snake" Sabo, Rachel Bolan (a dude), Scotti Hill, and Rob Affuso made excellence on their self-titled debut album.
Youth Gone Wild and 18 and Life were the epitome of bad ass in a world filled with fluffy, teased, pretty boy hair metal bands.
Early Skid Row sessions included:
- Behind The 8 Ball
- Can't Stand The Heartache
- Can't Wait Till Right Here
- Dirty World
- Edge of the Night
- I Remember You
- Knock Knock Baby
- Love Comes Down
- Piece of Me
- Rescue You Demo
- Shame Shame
- Walk With A Stranger
These bitchin' tunes should really be an album.
Earlier Skid Row demos with Matt Fallon:
Two of their largest hits were fully formed before Bach came on board, sung by original singer, Matt Fallon. I hope Fallon's doing well, dude deserved 80s rock glory. He's good. He's capable. He's not Sebastian, Baz is a hall of famer.
The hit: I Remember You
Amazing that I Remember You is the major hit. They were so harsh and bad ass. Skid Row's Slave to the Grind was even more harsh and bad ass.
